Where People Actually End Up

These are real stories from people who went through earlier versions of our program. Not overnight wins—just steady progress over time.

Portrait of Alaric Draven

Alaric Draven

Investment Analyst

Finished the program in late 2023. Spent the next year applying what he learned—mostly portfolio theory and risk assessment. Got promoted six months later. Says the frameworks still guide his daily work, especially when things get unpredictable.

Sienna Breckenridge

Financial Advisor

Started with almost zero background in 2023. Took her three months just to get comfortable with the concepts. Now she's managing her own client relationships and credits the program with giving her a language to explain complex ideas without the jargon.

Tavian Lockridge

Corporate Finance

Came in skeptical. Left with tools he actually uses. Moved into a more senior role eight months after completing the course. Says the behavioral finance module changed how he thinks about market movements and client decisions.

Portfolio Manager

Took the 2024 cohort while transitioning careers. Spent months practicing before feeling confident. Now she's handling real portfolios and says the grounding in asset pricing theory keeps her from chasing trends or reacting to noise.

How the Program Actually Runs

Most of the work happens asynchronously. You watch lectures, read materials, and work through exercises on your own schedule. Then we meet weekly for discussions where we dig into what's confusing or counterintuitive.

People come from different backgrounds—some with finance degrees, others switching fields. The pace adjusts based on where you're starting from. You can expect about 8-10 hours per week of work, though that varies depending on your familiarity with the concepts.

The goal isn't to memorize formulas. It's to develop a working understanding of how investment decisions get made and why certain approaches tend to work over time. Theory, but grounded in actual practice.
